SPICED TURMERIC CAYENNE CASHEWS

Ingredients

2 c organic raw cashews

1-2 T organic toasted sesame oil

1 T dulse seaweed flakes

1 t organic cayenne - adjust for heat

2 T organic sesame seeds

1/2 T organic turmeric powder

pinch Himalayan salt

 

Heat a cast iron skillet. Toss cashews in 1/2 T toasted sesame oil & add to the hot skillet. Toss to coat (about 3 minutes) until browned. Combine dulse, sesame seeds and cayenne in a small bowl. Turn off heat and add spice mixture, tossing to coat ~ about 2 minutes. Transfer to a cool baking tray, spreading the cashews out to cool. Cashews will firm up after a few minutes when cool. Enjoy! Store in an airtight container.
