The Essential Smoothie

¼  c chia seeds

¼  c hemp seeds

1 ¼  c coconut water or coconut milk 

1 T almond butter

1 c mixed berries (frozen blueberries, strawberries and blackberries

Spirulina or spinach- optional blend in

Place chia + hemps seeds in blender and pour over coconut milk or water.  Let sit 

10 min.  Add remaining ingredients while soaking as long as chia seeds are submerged in the liquid.  Blend well.

Goji berries

Bee pollen

Shredded coconut

Dried flowers

THE ESSENTIAL SMOOTHIE.  It’s pack full of antioxidants, protein, rich in essential fatty acids and is great source of vitamin E and minerals, including calcium iron and zinc and high in fiber.  Allowing the chia seeds to soak makes nutrients more bioavailable for the body. This is a versatile base to add greens such as spinach, spirulina & your choice of toppings. Enjoy!
